Clubhouse Camden

A place for teens to thrive!

The clubhouse provides teenagers with an encouraging environment to engage with peers and learn positive life skills. As part of our Leadership Academy, teens will receive a certificate of completion from UGA’s J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development. We will provide daily dosages of evidence-based substance prevention lessons as well as various additional services, including academic support, tutoring, job readiness training, family events, and recreational activities. The clubhouse opened in the fall of 2025 and was designed to provide support and empowerment to the youth in our community. The aim is to help nurture personal growth, education, and community engagement among young people. The center is under the leadership of Allison Murray, the Clubhouse Manager.

Summer Camp:

When: June 16 – July 18 11:00am – 5:30pm Monday - Friday (drop off between 11-12)

What: Similar to our Clubhouse afterschool experience. The leadership Academy will still be happening with the life skills and leadership lessons. All students who complete the program will receive a certificate of completion. In addition, we’ll offer a CPR certification class, weekly activities (pool, fieldtrips, etc.), and a STEM Submarine program. Over the 5 weeks, students will build their own submarine and race them underwater during week 5. This will replace the typical “homework/tutoring” piece of our program.

Who: All students in middle and high school are welcome, but we will give priority to students who have not yet attended/completed the Clubhouse program.  We have a max capacity of 35 students. Any remaining spots will be given to students who have already attended AND who have shown appropriate behavior/growth while in our program. All students will be placed on a waiting list upon registration.

Cost: Due to the addition of the STEM project and fieldtrips, the cost for the 5 week camp is $250. This is an all inclusive price including meals and any excursions. We do have scholarships available for any family needing one. Cost will not prohibit any student from participating. Email clubhouse@camdenconnection.org and we will help you through the process.

How: You can register by clicking the registration link above. You will not be charged the cost of camp until your spot is confirmed (taken off the waiting list).
