Through collaboration with local partner agencies, Camden Connection has established a community relief fund to alleviate burden of COVID-19 on Camden families. The Camden COVID-19 Community Fund is designed to expand local capacity to support individuals and families experiencing hardship because of the COVID-19 outbreak and related closures and disruptions. If your organization is seeking additional resources for provision of service related to COVID-19, contact email@example.com.
The CARES Relief fund is designed to alleviate financial hardship for those households impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic. Funds will be administered to households within the Cities of Woodbine and Kingsland, Georgia who have an outstanding mortgage payment, rental arrears and/or utility expenses from March 2020 to current. **Please note that only applicants with a verified address in the City of Kingsland or Woodbine are eligible for consideration at this time**. If you live in another area of the county, you are still able to provide a request. Our staff will utilize current ineligible submissions to provide a documented need report to other local governments upon request. The City of Kingsland and Woodbine both allocated a portion of their funds directly to citizen aid relief, their allocations must be used directly within the city per federal guidelines. We understand and apologize for the inconvenience this causes.
In order to be considered for this assistance, applicants must meet the following requirements: have a documented financial hardship attributed to COVID-19, ability to show that a one-time financial support from the relief fund will stabilize the applicants household. Each household (address based) will be limited to a maximum assistance of $1,000 for the first phase of aid review.
