Your next step to getting ahead may be found in adult education classes at CPTC. You can start where you are and earn your High School Equivalency (the GED® test or the HiSET® exam). These classes are designed to direct adult learners so that they can compete successfully in today’s workplace. Classes offered face to face or in a virtual format.

Altrus Assisted Living, an alternative living service provider, provides assisted living in the lovely St. Marys community. The home is conveniently located to the historical waterfront area. Since 1989, Altrus has provided quality services to frail elderly and developmentally challenged citizens of Georgia.

Our mission is to extend lifelong learning to Georgia citizens through unbiased, research-based education in agriculture, the environment, communities, youth and families. We offer 4-H Programs and Agriculture and Natural Resource Programs. Other services might include soil and / or water testing and site visits from the Agriculture and Natural Resource Agent.

The Summit Wellness Group is a dual diagnosis addiction treatment center located in Roswell that specializes in providing care to Georgians. Summit's website features a very helpful selection of resource guides and information. Additionally, their staff is available by phone to provide support 24/7 at 770-692-2052. 
 

Through our Emergency Services, the Salvation Army of St Marys provides grants for rent, utility assistance, clothing vouchers, and food for families in desperate need. Through the Pathway of Hope initiative, eligible families are offered intensive case management and needs based assistance to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty. Seasonally, we offer Thanksgiving and Christmas assistance as well as the opportunity for disadvantaged children to attend summer camp. We offer weekly Life Skills classes, free of charge to the community. Additionally, the Salvation Army serves as first responders during times of disaster.
